I've been thinking about this blog for a few days, before I finally decided to post something. I'm not a great fan of "hi" posts, so I decided not to make one. I'm going to try to extract as much of my eclectic mind as possible. I hope I manage and I hope You'll like it.
I like her. And I like her version of that song, so different than Elkie Brooks. I like Elkie's interpretation more. It's desperate and true, full of emotion and pain. Still, Katie's version has something charming in it. It's sad, yet delicate. And her voice has a promise of something better coming along in the future. Always, no matter what the lyrics say. At least I perceive it that way. I may not be the greatest optimist of the world but listening to Katie gives me some hope.
